The new multipurpose hall at Toowoomba North State School (QLD) officially opens today, 5 November. This impressive development delivers a modern, high-performing facility designed to support school sport, community events, and day-to-day school-life. The hall proudly features a full suite of premium sports equipment supplied and installed by HiTech Sports.
Developed under the Queensland Department of Education’s Great Schools, Great Future initiative, the facility centres around a full-size sports court accommodating basketball, volleyball, badminton, netball, and additional active-play formats.
At the heart of the sport court are our Essentials Roof Mounted Basketball Systems, equipped with backboard height adjustors and electric winches that enable smooth forward-fold lifting – offering complete customisation and efficient space management. The court also includes two additional two column mounted basketball shooting stations to support training and maximise participation opportunities.
To elevate game-day experience, we installed a high-performance scoreboard and shot clocks, allowing for seamless scoring across multiple sports. Complementing this setup, HiTech Sports supplied Aluline Volleyball, Aluline Netball, and Badminton systems, ensuring reliable, competition-ready equipment for students play, train and compete on.
